Join us at the Celebration of Seagrove Potters 16th Annual Celebration of Seagrove Potters at the historic Luck’s Cannery in Seagrove and visit our shop on the Studio Tour. Saturday, November 18th through Sunday, November 19th, 2023. Early bird shopping starts at 8am on Saturday morning. The Saturday show is from 9am to 5pm with demonstrations, and auction (also available online), Sunday 10am to 4pm. Our shop will be open Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

This year's turkey will be a "Turkey Jerky" that can be eaten after browsing a selection of our latest pots. R.D. was my father, the late Ronald Dewitt Mahan. This is our kiln opening in honor of the man whose courage, determination and energy inspired me to create whatever I desire. It's a yearly event at the studio to celebrate pottery and family, together with friends from more than thirty five years of making pottery in Seagrove. I will have new work available fresh from the kilns. There will be wood-fired pots and electric-fired pots: tree pots, platters, soul pots, bells, and more, some made from local clay. Refreshments to go.

Galway Potters’ Market - A celebration of studio pottery and ceramics: The work of 25 selected makers for sale in a market setting. At the picturesque setting of the Spanish Arch by the waters' edge in the heart of Galway, 25 selected studio potters and ceramic artists will be displaying and selling their high quality work in a friendly market environment. This is a great opportunity to meet the makers and appreciate a wide variety of high quality ceramic work.

Michael will be demonstrating from 12noon - 2pm, Sat and Sun. Brush up on your disc golf skills and enjoy the outdoors.
